Catherine Forrest (she/her) is an American writer, editor, and publishing industry professional from Baltimore, Maryland. She is a science editor by day and moonlights as the author of Shelf Life, a biweekly newsletter on writing and publishing. Her fiction has appeared in Fusion Fragment, Spectrum, and The Quiet Reader and her nonfiction has appeared in EON. Catherine has lived mostly in the suburbs of Washington, DC, and Baltimore, MD, except for a brief stint in Los Angeles during which she uncovered a passion for roller derby and fiction writing.
